Octopus in Olive Oil

Ingredients:

  • 2 kg octopus
  • 2 dl de extra virgin olive oil
  • 8 cloves of garlic
  • 1 bunch of cilantro
  • 1 kg small potatoes, with skin
  • salt and ground pepper

Directions:

After cooking the octopus, cut it into large pieces and place it in a clay dish along with the potatoes cooked in advance and slightly mashed.

Sprinkle with olive oil and coarsely chopped garlic.  Dust with salt and pepper.

Put it in the oven until the octopus is golden.

Serve hot, garnished with chopped cilantro.
