BackGuimarpeixe, a company specialised in the transformation, sale and distribution of ultra-frozen food products, was recently recognised internationally for its food quality, safety and responsibility. The award was attributed by the British Retail Consortium (BRC).
The BRC standards comprise a worldwide benchmark for best practices in the food industry. This certification allows the company, which is based in Guimarães, to guarantee the quality and food safety of its products in international markets.
The BRC certification is especially appreciated by large retail chains, which seek to assess the quality of companies that supply food products.
